Facilitators can offer excellent insight into the ways Visitors use the interactives. 

Designers interact with Visitors to understand their feelings about the interactives being created. 

This can be done through direct outreach or through collaboration with other Roles. 

Designers work with Organizers to keep everyone informed of their project status between workshops. 

Designers work closely with Evaluators to improve the interface and shape interactives to their audience.
